Know the dengue mosquito
Dengue is spread by the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Unlike ordinary mosquitoes, it bites during the day, mostly from 7 to 11 AM and 4 to 7 PM, and it breeds in clean standing water right around your home.
That is why a single spray is not enough. The eggs and larvae sitting in flower pots, coolers, and water tanks hatch into a new generation within days. Real protection means treating the breeding sites, not only the flying mosquitoes. And because mosquitoes travel between houses, dengue prevention works best when neighbors and housing societies act together.

Outdoor fogging
Fogging of lawns, gardens, boundary walls, and shaded areas where adult mosquitoes rest during the day.
Indoor residual spray
A long-lasting spray on walls behind furniture, under beds, and in dark corners, where mosquitoes rest indoors.
When to protect your home
June: Start early
Begin treatment before the monsoon sets in, while mosquito numbers are still low.
July: Monsoon peak
Mosquito numbers peak. Check for standing water every week and keep fogging and larvicide going.
Sept to Oct: Dengue peak
Dengue cases in Lahore are highest. Monthly treatment is essential through this period.
November: Finish strong
The season ends as temperatures drop. Keep protection going until the cold weather arrives.
Mosquito spray cost in Lahore
For the whole July to November season, a seasonal package gives the best protection and the lowest cost per spray. Housing societies can book a society-wide fogging campaign with a custom quote.

When should I start dengue spray?
In June, before the monsoon sets in. Mosquito numbers peak in July, and dengue cases in Lahore peak in September and October. Monthly treatment from July to November gives the best protection.
When do dengue mosquitoes bite?
The Aedes aegypti mosquito bites during the day, mostly from 7 to 11 AM and 4 to 7 PM. Use repellent and cover arms and legs at these times, especially for children.
Is one spray enough for the season?
No. A single spray kills the mosquitoes present on the day, but new ones keep hatching from standing water. A seasonal package of 3 or 5 sprays, together with emptying standing water every week, gives much better protection.
Is fogging safe for my family?
Yes, when done by trained professionals with approved chemicals. Keep children and pets indoors with windows closed during outdoor fogging, and stay out of sprayed rooms until the re-entry time, usually 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Can you fog our whole housing society?
Yes. Mosquitoes move between houses, so society-wide fogging protects everyone better than single homes treating alone. We provide a custom quote for society campaigns. Call 0300-9494798.
